Slowly time crushes
the coal black of all nighttime
to diamond mornings

and the bud quivers 
only in the mystery 
of its blossoming 

in the wide meadow-
lost in precious existence 
with the nastic night.

nastic: the non-directional movement of a plant part in response to an external stimulus is known as nastic movement . The folding up of leaves in sensitive plants in response to touch is an example of nastic movement.
