Mel Gibson’s direction is taut and energetic, maintaining a steady pace that keeps the audience on edge. The confined setting of the airplane enhances the tension, creating a claustrophobic atmosphere that amplifies the stakes. The screenplay, though occasionally predictable, does a commendable job of balancing action and character development.
